This wheel thrown and turned one of a kind lidded pot is made of black stoneware treated to a layer of porcelain slip. A hand 'scratched' palm frond (a technique known as sgraffito) was enhanced with cobalt oxides. Glazed on the interior with a glossy breaking green, a foot lifts it up and a hand knotted leather tassel adorns its lid.

roughly 4 3/4" tall (includes tassel) by 5 3/4" in diameter
Wipe with a damp cloth to clean.
