Hand Built Vase - Medium

This vase was handbuilt of black speckled stoneware, the surface textured and then treated to an application of light blue porcelain slip. Finally, it was finished in two overlapping glazes to achieve this particular crackled irridescence. The inside is glazed in a contrasting cobalt.
 
Dimensions:
~roughly 5 1/4" tall x 6" in diameter.
 
Food and dishwasher safe.
 
Please note: any vase may 'sweat' if filled with water for an extended length of time. Please exercise caution when placing this vase on a painted or wooden surface. Use a coaster until you are familiar with its individual propensities.
